Bukit
Jana Golf Club, Taiping, Perak, Malaysia.
The Bukit Jana Club is located at Kamunting, a few kilometres
north of Taiping, famed for its tin-mines. Set at the foothills of the
scenic Bukit Larut, the 18-hole course is bordered by lush tropical vegetation.
It spans 220 acres of former mining land and is characterised by undulating
terrain. The fairways are lined by a variety of different tree species
while a small orchard provides welcome nourishment during the fruit
season.
The clubhouse site astride a hilltop and
commands a spectacular view of the course and surroundings. A swimming
pool, a gymnasium, tennis and squash courts provide additional recreation.
There is also a wading pool and a playground for children. Also found within
the clubhouse is a pro-ship, a snooker parlour, a card room and a restaurant.
