After deciding to "retire" from politics, Harbans Singh went to LKY and asked him for a job in Lee & Lee.

"I am a lawyer," he said, "Any position will do."

LKY said, "OK, but I will have to ask my wife first." So he went to ask his wife.

But his wife told him, "This will be a problem. Everybody who works for Lee & Lee is a Lee. We cannot have a Singh."

So LKY went back to Harbans and told him, "Sorry, but you are not a Lee. Only Lees can work in Lee & Lee."

Harbans said, "No problem! I have already changed my name. Now my surname is Lee and you can call me Manga." (Manga Lee)!
